Hey everybody, Dan Anderson here, from the Kingdom Way. I’m reaching out to you today because I have some exciting news that I wanted to share with you. First of all, as of June 1st, we will be celebrating 10 years of ministry here in Northern Colorado, Denver, and various locations across the nation and the world. I am sharing this with you, number one, because I want to sincerely thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I want to express my gratitude to each one of you who have faithfully prayed for us month after month. Many of you who are watching this right now have been giving faithfully for 10 years, every single month. Some of you have volunteered at our events or are part of our groups, such as men’s cohorts or Business His Way groups.
Some of you may have even experienced certain aspects of our ministry in Trinidad, Tobago, or Liberia, or have been loosely connected to us within the community or through a coaching relationship. I want to thank you so much, and I genuinely believe this, God has made an immeasurable Kingdom impact in the lives of hundreds and thousands of people through your help.
With your support, we have been able to minister to countless individuals and leaders in the marketplace who are making a difference in their employees’ lives, their families, and entire communities. So once again, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
The second reason I’m reaching out to you is to share another point of celebration, but in a slightly different way. Some of you may have already seen this if you have been following us on social media or reading our newsletters. For several months now, we have been working on an exciting announcement that we would like to share with you today. That announcement is about a ministry called Fellowship of Companies for Christ International (FCCI).
Better known as FCCI and Kingdom Way, we’ve been working together for several months to merge our ministries. So please stick with me because this is going to be a little bit longer video than I’ve been posting online. And I want to introduce you to someone you’re going to hear from in a few minutes as well.
But I want you to understand the reasons why we are merging our ministries together. And the first thing I want you to understand is this: nothing, and let me repeat that, nothing is going to change in terms of our impact in Northern Colorado, Denver, and other places in the world where God has brought myself or a team member or just our impact through online and what have you.
And what that means is, if anything, the impact and the things we are doing here in Northern Colorado and Denver are only going to increase in depth and breadth and excellence of what we are able to provide. And if you’re wondering, for those of you that support us because you’re connected to Pastor Moses in Liberia or some of our leaders in Trinidad and Tobago or other places, if you are supporting certain events like that or people like Pastor Moses, nothing is going to change on that front either. FCRI is a nonprofit organization just like us. So that’s the first thing I want you to understand, that nothing is going to change. In fact, I think it’s going to get even better. And furthermore, we’re going to still be called Kingdom Way, an initiative of FCCI in this region.
So even that is going to stay the same. I’m looking down at my notes because I want to make sure that I share everything with you that I wanted. So why are we doing this? That’s a great question. The first and foremost reason in my mind is that myself personally, my colleague Greg, our team members, our long-term board members, most of whom have been with us for the full 10 years, and others that I’ve sought counsel from through those venues myself, God has clearly showed us that this is something He’s orchestrating.
He wants us to do, and my friends, if that were not the case, the conversations we’ve been having with FCCI from day one would have been a non-starter. The only reason we were seeking and open to that whatsoever to start with was because God was stirring in our hearts. In fact, I hesitate to share this with you as some of you might not have experienced this, and I never experienced it before either.
But I had a vivid dream that God used to start this thought in my heart. And I reached out to one of the board members and friends of FCCI that I’ve known for several years. And in fact, our ministry has had a long track record for years. My predecessor had been involved with FCCI.
So, this is not a new relationship. But to start with a dream and then God confirmed it with scriptures that He poured into my heart personally and the counsel I received from others. So that’s the first thing I want you to hear, to say. We’ve prayed and prayed and prayed about this, and we are so a hundred percent clear that God is leading this.
That’s number one. Number two is FCCI is aligned one hundred percent. Our mission is really their mission and vice versa. Their values and our values, philosophy of ministry even, and the avenues in which we’re trying to incite and equip and outfit marketplace leaders are very much the same. Which begs the question for me, why shouldn’t we be working together?
And please hear this, my friends, as this is a burden of my heart, I have seen so many nonprofit organizations and like organizations that are doing the same things, and they exist in silos. And I’m just thinking, God, you know, like the movies when you see the beginning of a movie and you see six different film companies working together to produce a magnificent film that has an impact on people’s lives, from their perspective for sure, and profitability. It’s like, why can’t we do that in God’s kingdom above all? If we have Christ in common and common values and scriptural principles we’re living by, why shouldn’t we be able to work together? And there are nuanced differences in terminology, but the mission, values, purpose, and philosophy of ministry are the same.
So that’s another reason why we’re doing this. A third reason is because of the practical perspective. And that is, both our ministries have had an upward and right-growing trajectory, momentum, and impact. And how can we do that better? Well, we could do it better with different gifts and multiple people on the team, versus just me and Greg, our board members, and other key people that we’ve been a part of. We will be working with a broader team that will give us greater wisdom, ideas, innovation, and shared resources. This is another practical perspective.
From a personal perspective, I think it’s going to help me and our team to fully enter a hundred percent focus on our best competencies and giftedness, which can bring more fruitful fulfillment. And then the last reason I just shared, there are many reasons, but these are just a few that I’m thinking of that are top of mind, is for maximum impact. You know, in the parable of the soil, my word last year was a hundredfold. And where that came from was the parable of the soil in Matthew 13. And my prayer, my heart from that is like, God, I want to have a fertile soil of my heart and the ministry even trusted me with, and the team members you’ve given me, to not just have 30-fold or 60-fold, but a hundred-fold fruit. In John 15, verse eight, it says that you’ll have greater joy and fruitfulness and thus prove to be my disciples. God wants there to be not just faithfulness, for sure, faithfulness, but He’s wanting and expecting us to do our very best to bring fruitfulness. And my friends, I just believe that the fruit is going to be at a greater quotient. And we’re going to have a greater impact through this merger and partnership for several reasons.
Number one, we’ll be working together here in Northern Colorado with their resources and people to make things even better here. But beyond that, there are movements in Albuquerque through FCCI, in San Diego, and Raleigh-Durham, and Louisville, in Atlanta for sure, where they are based, their headquarters, Portland, and other places where God is stirring up leaders who are saying, “We want help. We want to do like what we’re doing here, and how can we do that?” And they’re looking to FCCI for leadership to deepen their roots and be more effective in the marketplace arenas that God has placed them in their cities.
But then get this, there’s a national conference that our folks here, if they want to leverage that and be connected with leaders worldwide, FCCI does an amazing job, so we’re going to be able to offer that to them as well. In addition, there is an organization called the International Leadership Institute.
The leader of this ministry is on the national board of FCCI, and they have a presence and an impact in over 100 countries. For those of you who know me, you know that this is also my passion, the international global impact. So, my friends, as I look at all of this, the only thing that I can think of that would stand in the way is my ego and trying to create something for myself or our organization.
And those of you who know me, know that’s not my priority. I couldn’t care less about that. My passion is kingdom impact, and I truly believe with all my heart that this merger will bring that to a greater level. So, you might ask, “Well, what’s next?” Those are some of the reasons that I wanted you to know. Well, what’s next? My official title will be National Ministry Director, and as a key member of FCCI, I will be in charge of Kingdom Way here in Denver. We will continue to do everything we are doing here in Northern Colorado and the Denver area. Additionally, I will have the privilege to coach leaders in other cities, sharing the things we’ve learned and learning from them on how to implement marketplace ministry impact that’s deep and broad in each of those cities across the country where we have a presence. Occasionally, I may also be part of speaking internationally and in local arenas as well.
What excites me is that we’ll be helping develop more of the Business His Way initiative. We might give it a different name in other cities, like what we have here locally for business owners and leaders. One aspect I’m particularly excited about is the coaching opportunities. The 1-on-1 coaching with teams is multiplying, and I see great potential in that area. I’m looking forward to seeing how we can multiply and start other coaching ministries through FCCI in other cities as well.
I want to introduce you to Ryan Dickinson, the Executive Director of FCCI. I have built a great relationship and partnership with Ryan. His heart, passion, and vision are remarkable. He has experience in business and multiple arenas, having built and sold off businesses. He has also served as an executive pastor at one of the largest growing churches in Northern Colorado. Ryan is based in North Denver, and I truly believe our giftedness and compatibility will bring about incredible results. I’m excited about this partnership, and I want Ryan to share a little bit about his perspective and passion for this.
“Hey, thank you for that introduction, Dan. I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know you. I consider you like a brother already, even though we’ve known each other for a relatively short time. Dan’s gifts, abilities, and talents are amazing. At FCCI, we call ourselves a global movement of servant leaders who help each other lead companies for Christ. I can’t think of a better example of a servant leader than Dan Anderson. Dan has devoted his life to equipping and encouraging business leaders to understand the calling we have in the marketplace. Not just to do business well, but to have an eternal impact through our platform and the influence that business gives us. That God owns the business, and we steward it for His results. I love Dan and Kingdom Way’s messaging around that. Personally, I got saved largely because of the efforts of a coworker in the marketplace who probably invited me to church 40 times over the course of a year before I finally said yes. That coworker changed the trajectory of my life. Now, I’ve been married for 21 years and have three teenage boys who all know Jesus because of what happened in the marketplace. I want others to have that same opportunity. So, I’m super excited to merge forces with Kingdom Way, not only to enhance what’s going on here in Colorado but to multiply it in other markets. We see God doing amazing things all over the country, and we want to multiply those things. Dan and Kingdom Way will bring valuable additions to the FCCI staff, experiences, and wisdom to effectively achieve that. I couldn’t be more excited about this partnership, and I hope and pray that you will continue to be a part of it, not for selfish reasons, but because we know that God has even more in store through this partnership. God bless you all. Love you, and I look forward to getting to know you better as time goes on. Thanks, Dan.”
