Discovering What Gives You Energy at Work
Join us for The Six Types of Working Genius
Why do some parts of your work leave you energized, while others seem to drain you, even when you are perfectly capable of doing them? The Six Types of Working Genius is a simple and practical framework developed by Patrick Lencioni and The Table Group that helps people understand how they naturally contribute to getting work done. During this interactive breakfast, we will explore the six types of genius, identify common sources of frustration and help participants think more intentionally about how they work, lead and collaborate.
What participants can expect to gain
* A practical understanding of the six activities required to move any kind of work from an idea to a finished result
* Greater clarity about the work that naturally gives them energy and the work that tends to drain them
* Language for discussing strengths, frustrations and team dynamics without blaming or labeling people
* Insight into why capable, committed people can experience the same meeting or project very differently
* Ideas for structuring roles, meetings and projects around the strengths of the people involved
* A healthier way to think about productivity, burnout and asking others for help
Questions we will explore
* Why can I be good at something and still find it exhausting?
* Why do great ideas sometimes fail to become real results?
* Where does work tend to stall within a team?
* What could change if people spent more time contributing from their genius rather than constantly operating in frustration?
Most people do not need to work harder. They need greater clarity about the kind of work they are naturally equipped to do and a better understanding of the people working alongside them. Working Genius offers a remarkably simple vocabulary that can create immediate insight, reduce unnecessary friction and help work feel more productive and fulfilling.

Optional assessment
Participants do not need to complete the Working Genius assessment before attending. However, those who would like a more personalized experience are encouraged to take it ahead of time and bring their results to the breakfast.
The online assessment takes approximately 10 to 15 minutes and provides a personalized report identifying your:
- * Two Working Geniuses
- * Two Working Competencies
- * Two Working Frustrations
The assessment can be purchased for $25 at WorkingGenius.com. After completing it, participants should bring either a printed or digital copy of their report so they can apply the conversation directly to their own work and experience.
